TARA CAVAZOS, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC
Tara Cavazos grew up in Norman, OK. She studied nursing at Baylor University, and upon graduation worked in Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in Dallas. Tara earned her Master's Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, where she was an MSN Academic Scholar. She received her doctoral degree at Duke University graduating at the top of her class. Tara is a member of both local and national advanced practice organizations. She serves as a consultant and medical advisory board member for a large, preventive healthcare provider. One of her biggest joys is giving back to those most in need. She spent the last 10 years volunteering at a local urgent care clinic for the underserved here in Dallas and attends medical mission trips with LatMed International.

Born in San Antonio and raised in Texas, Stefanie has been a DFW resident since she was 12 years old. After graduating from highschool, she headed north, completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Oklahoma, and upon graduating returned home to begin her nursing career in Dallas. Stefanie has nine years of nursing experience at Baylor University Medical Center downtown, where she gained invaluable knowledge, know-how, and excellent practical experience in the Trauma ICU and Cardiac/Vascular Surgery Recovery. Stefanie went on to complete her MSN at the University of Texas at Arlington, where she completed many of her clinical hours at Lakewood Family Health under the mentorship of Kendra Breithaupt and Alyssa Haycock. After graduating with her MSN, Stefanie began her NP career at Baylor University Medical Center in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery. Stefanie is excited to transition her career as a nurse practitioner to family, preventative medicine, wellness, and health promotion.

Originally from Roswell, NM, Samantha has called Texas home for the past 17 years. After graduating high school, she earned her nursing degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. With over 12 years of experience in nursing, Samantha has worked in various roles, including the trauma/surgical intensive care unit and perioperative care. These roles helped her develop strong critical thinking abilities, hands-on expertise, and a deep understanding of patient care.
